The details of the tabernacle furnishings continue to expound on the details of Christ and the Bride.

The coverings of the holy of holies is covered by badger skin. The outer skin of the holy of holies reminds us not to judge by the outer appearance. It is also an exhortation that no matter how we see ourselves, God is looking for Christ in the inward parts.

The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. Humility also goes hand in hand with that wisdom. God says that we should ask for wisdom.

James 1:5"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him".

But when we ask for wisdom, let us know that the fear of the Lord and humility more than likely will come along with it.

As God’s servant, we can be honest with the things we desire, and explore that it may be God giving us that desire to do that thing. He does give us the desires of our hearts.

In the same way that Jesus cleared the temple from the money changers, he also does that in our hearts, so that He can use us in the manner that he chooses. But that should come with a healthy fear of the Lord, which will come with humility and wisdom.

God knows your heart in the matter, you can fool others, but you can’t fool God.

Doing “good things for Jesus” can be as much iniquity as the thing you consider sin.

We are the poor and broken. It’s not those “other people”.

The Triennial Cycle Readings
These are notes and observations of our fellowship studies of the Triennial Cycle. These readings have been comprised to the best of our knowledge by Scholars. These are the same teachings that Jesus and his disciples undoubtedly followed as they walked together on this earth. The early Church also went through these teachings as foundational to discipleship.
